About Transitional Employment
Transitional
Employment (TE) is one of many opportunities offered to members and
is a way to obtain or return to paid work in the local community.
Businesses enter into a partnership with Vincent House because we
provide quality personnel on a part-time basis, a commitment to job
coverage 100% of the time, and ongoing placement manager support.
TE positions are challenging jobs that provide real wages. Members
work at the employer’s place of business and are paid directly by
the employer. These positions are demanding, real world jobs that
may include stressful situations.

Members on TE are selected by Vincent House and
typically do not have to go through an interview process
except perhaps for a “meet and greet” moment with employer.
TE jobs are held in trust and in good standing by members and
staff, for the benefit of current and future members.

committed to providing continued support to members in paid
employment; this includes members moving from Transitional
Employment into Supported and Independent Employment.
